Registration begins June 4!
To log in as a parent in READsquared, visit your local library’s specific READsquared website, select "Login" or "Register," and choose the "Family Account" option to manage multiple children’s reading logs under one parent account. Parents can register themselves first, then add child accounts to monitor activities, log reading minutes, and track prizes easily.
Key READsquared Parent Login Details:
Access Point: You must use your local library's unique URL (https://gilescountylibrary.readsquared.com) to register and log in.
Family Account Setup: When registering, select the option to create a "Family Account". This allows you to log in once and manage multiple children's profiles.
Monitoring Activity: After logging in, you can log reading time (minutes), input book titles, and check earned points/prizes for all family members.
App Access:The READsquared app is available for both Android and iOS devices, allowing for mobile logging.
If you have forgotten your credentials, use the "Forgot Username/Password" option on your library's specific ReadSquared Login page.

Now more than ever, keeping kids engaged in summer reading is essential for helping them stay on track for academic success in the fall. Through a fun and rewarding reading program, the library is working to prevent the “summer slide.” Participation is encouraged and open to all ages.
The Giles County Public Library will host weekly activities at the Giles Heritage Theatre, located at First National Bank, along with several exciting special programs throughout the summer.

Join us for a summer full of stories, discovery, and fun! 📚
We use READsquared, an easy online reading program you can access through the library website (link below) or a free app on your phone. It’s open to all ages and is where you’ll sign up, track reading, complete activities, play games, and find book recommendations.
If you don’t have internet access, computers are available at the library each week to use the program.
